Jesus Changed my Testimony he exchanged everything that I did wrong with everything that he did right
Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
One of my favorites from Isaiah Saldivar
5. He was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
4. The goodness of God leads a man to repentance.
11. May Jesus help you turn from your sin and live a sinless life.
1. It is good for a man not to touch a woman.
2. Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband.
This is part of my story that could hopefully help you to step out and see what God/Jesus can do in your life if you put Jesus first.
I was so adventurous when I was young and today I’m still adventurous.
When I was young I loved playing outside collecting bugs and playing with them.
Also at some point around the age of 9 I found myself climbing trees because I loved to but one day I grabbed a dead branch on a tree and I believe I fell from 10 feet in the air to the ground landing on my back. I had to go to the hospital and get surgery. God Preserved my life this day.
All this to say is that the God of the universe carried me through all of these different encounters and I’m still alive today. I’m still breathing and I am so blessed to know that God found me at a certain point where it felt like to me I was at my lowest point in my life. And he brought me out of the darkness into the light.
At the age of 21 I started reading the Bible not because someone told me but because I wanted to do it myself. I knew before I was going to read the Bible I would need to take my time and not overwhelm myself with all the information that the Bible provides for us. I wanted to get closer to our heavenly father and I did. The word of God says, if you search for the Lord your God with all your heart and soul, you will find him.
